Earthworks, subgrade preparation, and capping layers engineered to achieve the track formation stiffness and long-term settlement performance that modern rail requires.

Rail Drainage

Linear drainage, French drains, catchpits, and culverts designed to keep formations dry — preventing the weakening and settlement that poor drainage causes in rail trackbeds.

Structures

Bridges, underbridges, retaining walls, and culverts along the railway corridor — designed and constructed to Network Rail and HS2 structural standards.

Station Civils

Platform construction, canopy substructures, surface water drainage, and external works for new and refurbished stations — delivered within possession windows.

From Possession
To Handover

Possessions & Planning

All rail works require planned and booked possessions. We coordinate with Network Rail and TOCs to maximise productive possession time and minimise impact on train services.

Earthworks

Bulk excavation, fill placement, and compaction to engineered formation levels — with material testing and density checking to meet specification requirements throughout.

Drainage & Structures

Linear drainage installation, culvert construction, and bridge works — sequenced to allow trackbed drainage to function from the earliest possible stage.

Handover & Inspection

Track geometry surveys, drainage system testing, and formal handover to the Infrastructure Manager — with all as-built records and O&M documentation delivered.
