What We
Build
Road construction combines earthworks, pavement engineering, drainage, and a complex programme of coordination with utility companies and the Highway Authority. We manage that coordination from the outset — agreeing set-out with the local highway authority, coordinating utility diversions ahead of main works, and delivering a finished carriageway that meets specification layer by layer.
For housing developments and commercial schemes, adoptable roads are critical to planning conditions and plot sales. We design and build Section 38 roads with an eye on the adoption process from day one — avoiding the remedials that delay adoption and cost developers money.

New carriageway construction in flexible and rigid pavement — designed to DMRB standards with subbase, binder course, and surface course compliant with the Specification for Highway Works.

Surface water drainage networks including gullies, catchpits, piped systems, and swales — designed to manage highway runoff safely and prevent carriageway flooding.
Junctions & Roundabouts
Junction improvements, signalised crossings, and roundabout construction — including road markings, signage, kerbing, and tie-in to the existing carriageway.

Highway Agreements
Adoptable roads delivered under Section 38 agreements; off-site highway works under Section 278 — both with bonds and commuted sums as required.

Compaction Standard
Subgrade and fill materials compacted to 95% of maximum dry density — verified by nuclear density gauge or sand replacement testing.
