Build
Utility infrastructure sits beneath almost every development and major construction project — and getting it right early is critical to programme. We manage multi-utility diversions and new connection programmes from the initial desktop assessment through to reinstatement — coordinating with DNOs, gas transporters, water companies, and telecoms providers so that utility works do not become the constraint on progress.
Our teams are experienced in working in constrained, live utility environments — applying strict permit-to-dig and safe-dig procedures, using scanning and trial holes to confirm apparatus positions before excavating, and maintaining supply continuity throughout the diversion process.

On Programme
Network Coordination
Utility diversions involve multiple network operators, each with their own programme, standards, and approval processes. We manage that coordination centrally — planning works in the right sequence to avoid clashes and keep the project moving.
Safety Management
Working near live gas, electricity, and water infrastructure demands rigorous permit-to-dig procedures, utility scanning, and trial hole verification. Our site teams are trained to EAL Level 2 Buried Services Awareness and follow CDM Principal Contractor duties on all utility works.
Programme Integration
Utility enabling works are often on the critical path of major developments. We integrate utility programmes with the wider construction sequence, using phased diversions and temporary supplies where needed to keep the development programme on track.
