& Testing
Verified integrity, documented compliance.
Our inspection and testing services verify that plant and equipment are safe and fit for service — non-destructive testing, pressure system inspection, and asset integrity assessment, all delivered to recognised standards with full documentation.
Overview
Proven
Fit For Service
Industrial plant degrades in service — corrosion, fatigue, erosion, and creep progressively reduce the integrity of pressure vessels, pipework, and structures. Inspection and testing exist to detect that degradation before it results in failure, providing the objective evidence needed to confirm equipment is safe to continue operating, or to justify repair or replacement.
We provide a range of inspection and non-destructive testing techniques, matched to the asset and the degradation mechanism of concern. Our work supports statutory obligations such as written schemes of examination under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations, as well as risk-based inspection regimes that focus effort where integrity risk is greatest. Every inspection is documented to a standard that satisfies duty holders and regulators.
Capabilities
What We Deliver
Non-Destructive Testing
Ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and eddy current testing to detect surface and sub-surface defects.
Pressure Systems
Written schemes of examination and in-service inspection of pressure vessels and pipework under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations.
Asset Integrity
Corrosion mapping, remaining life assessment, and fitness-for-service evaluation to inform repair and replacement decisions.
Risk-Based Inspection
RBI programmes that prioritise inspection effort by integrity risk, optimising cost while maintaining safety and compliance.
Inspection Process
How We Verify Integrity
Plan
Degradation mechanisms identified, inspection technique selected, and scope defined against risk and statutory requirement.
Inspect
Non-destructive testing carried out by qualified technicians — data captured, defects located, and thicknesses recorded.
Assess
Findings evaluated against acceptance criteria — fitness-for-service and remaining life determined where degradation is found.
Report
Documented report issued with findings, conclusions, and recommendations — satisfying duty holder and regulatory needs.
