The windscreen is a structural component, not simply a sheet of glass. In a modern vehicle it contributes to roof crush resistance and is the deployment surface for the passenger airbag. Incorrect installation — wrong adhesive, insufficient cure time, or poor bonding — compromises both in a collision. We use only approved urethane adhesives applied to the manufacturer's specified bonding width, with a minimum 60-minute safe drive-away time before you leave the workshop.
Vehicles with forward-facing ADAS cameras — lane departure, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise — require camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. We carry static calibration targets for the most common systems and offer dynamic road calibration where required, ensuring all safety systems function correctly before handover.

Replacement of door glass, quarter lights, and rear screens — including heated rear window reconnection and privacy glass matching where required.
ADAS Recalibration
Static and dynamic recalibration of forward-facing cameras mounted behind the windscreen — required after replacement to restore lane assist, AEMB, and speed sign recognition.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems must be recalibrated after every windscreen replacement. Failure to calibrate is a legal liability — not just an advisory item.
