Rail Support
Rail vehicle maintenance differs fundamentally from road vehicle maintenance: every task must be completed to a specific maintenance instruction, documented in the vehicle's maintenance record, and signed off by a competent person. Failure to maintain rolling stock to the required standard carries serious safety and regulatory consequences for the operator.
We work within the vehicle's maintenance plan, following the vehicle maintenance instructions issued by the rolling stock manufacturer or modified by the operator's engineering authority. All work is documented to RSSB standards, with records retained and available for review by the relevant authority.

What We Deliver
Rolling Stock Inspection
Planned maintenance inspections for diesel multiple units, electric multiple units, and locomotive-hauled coaching stock — documented to RSSB standards and Network Rail maintenance schedules.
Bogie & Underframe
Bogie removal, wheel profile measurement, axle bearing inspection, and suspension component replacement — carried out in line with the relevant vehicle maintenance instructions.
Traction & Electrical Systems
Traction motor inspection, power electronics diagnostics, pantograph condition assessment, and control system fault investigation — for diesel, electric, and hybrid rolling stock.
HVAC & Auxiliary Systems
Passenger saloon HVAC servicing, cab heating and ventilation, compressor and brake system inspection — to the intervals specified in the vehicle's maintenance plan.
